The Levi Strauss & Co naming-rights deal signed in May 2013 for 220 million dollars over twenty years remains one of the most lucrative such deals in modern American sports, and the jeans manufacturer's headquarters at 1155 Battery Street in San Francisco financed the naming as a marketing statement rather than through operational advertising budget. Litigation between the Stadium Authority and the 49ers over stadium-management fees produced multiple settlements totalling roughly 30 million dollars paid by the team to the city between 2019 and 2022.
