About Incheon
Incheon International Airport is the largest airport in South Korea and the primary airport serving the Seoul Capital Area. Located on an artificially created piece of land between Yeongjong and Yongyu Islands, it replaced Gimpo International Airport for international flights in 2001. It is a hub for Korean Air and Asiana Airlines.
Incheon is widely regarded as one of the best airports in the world, regularly winning "World's Best Airport" titles. The architecture mimics the curves of a traditional Korean temple.
The airport is a major transpacific cargo and passenger hub. It features four runways and operates 24 hours a day. Its efficiency in automated immigration processing allows it to handle massive passenger volumes with some of the fastest processing times globally.
